Living the Questions and sharing my joy in creating beautiful art.
Today I affirm I am letting go of the past and resolve to Live the Questions.
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
Life, a fleeting dance of moments, calls us to embrace its rhythm. As we navigate its twists and turns, let us remember the good times, those sparkling fragments where joy and laughter intertwine. These cherished memories, like beacons in the night, guide us through life's uncertainties.
Where I see her in my Heart & mind

Today, my heart turns to the memory of my beloved Sunshine, Dr. Carol Ann Washburn. As the anniversary of her passing is marked (November 9, 2024 she was 69; born January 29, 1952). I find myself drawn to the warmth of our shared moments. Fifteen years, a tapestry woven with threads of joy and sorrow. While the weight of those challenging years of her ill health and mind has left its mark, I choose to focus on the beauty of our time together. In the quiet moments, I recall the laughter, the shared dreams, and the unwavering love that bound us. May her spirit forever illuminate the path ahead.
Somehow she started to live in FEAR and it stole so many precious days.
I see her walking the beautiful shores of Kauai--not afraid.
And in my mind we are dancing.
